Came on the air in October 1962. This makes WINB the oldest private shortwave broadcaster in the United States. Calls stand for "World INternational Broadcasters" Broadcasts a diet of religious music and talk, plus they sell airtime. Broadcasts to a world wide audience. Co-owned with WGCB-TV 49, which also broadcasts religious programming.
